  • New Employer Primer on House Healthcare Reform Bill [The document linked to above is a comprehensive analysis of the currently pending healthcare legislation that pays special focus to details  in the bill and to how they affect the employer community.  This document also includes a forward by Randel K.   • HHS Memorandum: Estimated Financial Effects of H.R. 3200, as Reported by the Ways and Means Committee - "This memorandum summarizes the Office of the Actuary's estimates of the financial and coverage effects of the proposed "America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009" (H.R. 3200) through fiscal year 2019.  The estimates are based on the bill as reported by the Ways and Means Committee and include the estimates net Federal expenditures in support of expanded health insurance coverage, the associated numbers of people by insured status, the changes in Medicare and Medicaid expenditures and revenues, and the overall impact on total National health expenditures. [...] An appendix is attached summarizing the data, assumptions, and methodology underlying these estimates."
